James (Jim)  earned his BE in Mechanical Engineering from the State University of New York at Stony Brook in 1994.  He began his career with a large full service firm on Long Island.  Projects ranged from office space and schools to large industrial and process projects.  In 1998 he moved to Colorado to initiate the engineering section of a design build contractor.  The engineering department was started from the ground up and was developed into a state of the art CAD/CAM design and manufacturing department. He continued to work along the front range until 2006 when he expanded his horizons into the Gulf Coast as well providing mechanical engineering design and consultation.  He co-founded Pivotal West in 2017.   Jim enjoys travelling, riding motorcycles and playing his guitar in his free time.  

Bassam earned his BS in electrical engineering from Louisiana State University in 1987.  He has over 25 years of engineering experience including Process, Combustion, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering.  He has vast experience in engineering management, construction administration and cost estimating and budgeting.  He co-founded Pivotal West in 2017.  Bassam enjoys spending his free time with his family and 2 young daughters. 

Chris brings over 20 years of electrical systems design to the team. He has a strong background in and knowledge of electrical power systems, lighting, photometric site studies and lighting controls.  His knowledge of Computer Aided Drafting applications is extensive and he has LEED experience as well.  Chris likes to spend his free time working on projects at home and camping with his wife whenever possible. 

Vance earned his AAS in Engineering and Drafting Technology from North American Technical in 1978.  He has over 35 years of mechanical systems design experience.  This includes plumbing, HVAC and Fire Protection experience.  He has extensive AutoCAD drafting experience and LEED Design experience.  He has also trained and taught others in CAD techniques and has produced in-house manuals and standards.  Vance enjoys spending his free time with his wife and family.
